About Bauke

With over 25 years of international leadership experience, he blends sharp strategic thinking with hands-on expertise in sales, procurement, industrial supply, and complex change management. Since 2014, he has led MAG45’s growth into a global industrial integrator, expanding across Europe, Asia and the US while reinforcing its unique position in the world of integrated tail supply.

Bauke is known for his clear strategic vision and people-first leadership style. He strongly believes in long-term partnerships, continuous innovation, and sustainable supply chains that deliver real impact. Under his leadership, MAG45 has strengthened its global footprint, service portfolio, invested in people development, and taken bold steps in data-driven transformation and ESG.

Bauke loves spending quality time with family and friends and has been a committed long-term coach for his children’s soccer teams. He is a passionate road and gravel cyclist, and his background as an amateur DJ has left him with a lasting soft spot for music and entertainment.

Experience & background

Before joining MAG45, Bauke held senior leadership positions at Technische Unie (Sonepar), Rexel, Hagemeyer, and Telfort (British Telecom). His background spans strategic procurement, industrial sales, and business integration. He started his career as a consultant at DHV (Royal HaskoningDHV).

He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. He also completed executive education at TIAS School for Business and Society.
