Bart Griffijn is Chief Procurement Officer at MAG45 and leads the global sourcing and procurement strategy for all operational hubs. With over 15 years at MAG45 and a career rooted in logistics and supply chain innovation, Bart has helped shape the company’s procurement backbone, transforming it into a scalable, high-performing function that supports both operational excellence and strategic customer value.
With a sharp focus on structure, people development and process optimization, Bart has built and matured the global Sourcing organization within MAG45. His leadership ensures that product availability, cost control and compliance are secured across all sites, while always keeping customer needs and long-term supplier partnerships at the center.

Outside of work, Bart is rarely standing still. You’ll often find him in the climbing gym, where he climbs weekly with friends. Top rope climbing, no bouldering, as he jokes: “Bouldering is a phase, climbing is a lifestyle.” He also shares his love for climbing with his partner of 20 years and their three young children; two of whom have already caught the climbing bug. Whether it’s climbing, strength training in the gym, or running when the weather allows, Bart thrives on physical challenges. It’s that same energy and drive he brings into his work: if it’s tough, it excites him; if it’s easy, he quickly moves on. On top of all that, he takes great joy in being an active part of his kids’ development and supporting them wherever he can.
Experience & background
Bart started his journey at MAG45 in 2010 and has worked in nearly every commercial discipline since: from project and contract management to business development and procurement. In his previous role as Manager Sourcing, he built a globally aligned sourcing team across 8 hubs, introduced KPI frameworks, training programs and capacity planning structures, and positioned the function as a strategic enabler for both existing and new clients.
Before MAG45, Bart gained experience through various logistics roles and supply chain internships across manufacturing and distribution environments. He holds a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management from Maastricht University and completed executive education at Rotterdam School of Management.
