MAG45's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities reflect our ongoing commitment to making our planet a better place. We take our responsibilities seriously to help the world achieve more. And we are committed to meeting our responsibility to address economic, social, and environmental issues in our world today.
MAG45 is ISO 14001:2004 certified. This ISO standard specifies requirements for an environmental management system to enable MAG45 to develop and implement a policy and objectives which take into account legal requirements and other requirements to which MAG45 subscribes, and information about significant environmental aspects. In the beginning of 2018, this certification will be renewed to the revised ISO 14001:2015.
Books 4 life
Books4life is a Dutch national chain of book stores who sells donated books. The earnings are used for charities like Amnesty International, Oxfam Novib and other local organizations. Yearly, MAG45 collects books and donate them to Books4life.
JINC is a non-profit organization who helps children between the age of 8 to 16 to make a good career start. Via the JINC-program, they get familiar with all kind of professions and discover which one fits best with their talents. Next to that, they learn how to apply for a job.
The Boss of tomorrow is an initiative of JINC to underline that every child deserves a fair chance on a job. Two primary school students were given the opportunity to experience what it takes to be a director of MAG45. The students attended a management meeting, interviewed several colleagues and gave their view on certain issues.
A speed internship is a business visit for children form elementary school and first grade. In small groups, children visiting MAG45 were they really go to work and experience different job functions. The goal is to make it easier for children to choose their future education. Several groups has visited us in the past.
For a local initiative, MAG45 collects used stamps. These stamps are used for generating things to do for disabled people like removing stamps from envelopes. They also sell the stamps to collect money for several activities.
